More than $195,000 was raised Saturday during the 17th annual SPCA Tampa Bay Paws on Parade Pet Walk. Proceeds from the annual event will go to the purchase of food, shelter and medical care of the more than 15,000 homeless animals the SPCA cares for annually. The total collected thus far is short of this year's goal of $225,000. For pet lovers who missed the walk, donations are still being accepted at www.SPCATampaBay.org or mail a check to 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo, FL 33773.
