LAND O'LAKES The Tampa law firm of Maney & Gordon is hosting an emergency fundraiser for Jaylin Gourrie, a 3-year-old who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, in January. She had a football-sized tumor removed from her abdomen in May and has endured several rounds of chemotherapy, as well as a bone marrow transplant. Jaylin's next step is a trip to New York for a series of injections of an experimental drug. Without these injections, doctors have given Jaylin no chance of survival. The fundraising event to help pay for this treatment will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Land O'Lakes Community Center, which has donated the use of the facility for the day. There will be food and drinks, a raffle and a silent auction, for which donations are still needed. To make a donation or to learn more about Jaylin's story, visit http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/joyfuljaylin.
