Frugality took front row

We had less fun last year, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. Americans spent more than in 2005 on housing and health care, and less on entertainment. Consumers in the South pulled back on clothes and services. But rising housing costs hit nationwide. At least we're all pinching pennies.
