The greatest pumpkin

Joe Jutras of North Scituate, R.I., wraps his pumpkin to be fitted into a gathering strap at the New England Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off recently at the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts. He set a world record with his entry, which weighed 1,689 pounds, breaking the previous record of 1,502 pounds. Jutras said it took 87 days, a lot of work and plenty of chemical treatments to grow the pumpkin.
