Veterans
The plaque reads "Always Faithful - Often Tested - Brothers Forever," but it hardly describes the strength of the relationship that exists between battle-tested Navy Seabees and the Marine Corps.
The brass plate on the plaque tells the bigger story: "We have fought and died together for freedom, so our children can live in peace."
Gene Roberts, associate member of the Marine Corps League, Detachment 708, Spring Hill as well as a member of Spring Hill's Island X6 Seabees recently presented the plaque of solidarity to Frank Glassford, detachment commandant.
