The Hernando County Solid Waste and Recycling Division has various drop-off sites for recyclables. Accepted at the following sites: paper (newspaper, paper bags and flattened cardboard), plastic (Nos. 1-2), aluminum and steel cans. Mail, glossy advertisements, plastic window envelopes and colored paper are not accepted. All items must be clean and sorted into correct bins. Call 754-4112, ext. 122, for information.

Brooksville

Hernando County Government Center (Records Storage Facility): 234 E Jefferson St.

Northwest Waste Management Facility: 14450 Landfill Road (off U.S. 98 N).

Weslyan Village: 8225 Wesley Drive.

Nobleton

Lake Townsen Regional Park: 28011 Lake Lindsey Road.

Ridge Manor

East Hernando Transfer Station: SR 50 (east of I-75).

Spring Hill

Green Bean Organic Market: 11020 Northcliffe Blvd.

Lakewood Plaza (Target/Publix): 4365 Commercial Way.

Spring Hill Elementary School: 6000 Roble Ave.

Spring Hill Moose Lodge: 5214 Mariner Blvd.

Timber Hills Plaza (Winn Dixie/Red Lobster): 2240 Commercial Way.

Wal-Mart Supercenter: 13300 Cortez Blvd.

West Hernando Transfer Station: 2525 Osowaw Blvd.
