Sample savory food and music at Weeki Wachee

WEEKI WACHEE The Hernando County Fine Arts Council and Hernando Jazz Society will present "A Taste of Jazz" at 10 a.m. Saturday and Nov. 4 at Weeki Wachee Springs, 6131 Commercial Way. Nationally known acts will perform, including the Grammy-nominated Dan McMillion Jazz Orchestra on Saturday, as well as the Hernando Jazz Society and high school musicians. Restaurants will sell tickets for $1 each toward food "tastes." There will also be children's activities. Parking is $1. Admission is $3 (children 2 and under are free), which includes entry to Weeki Wachee Springs and the park's amenities. Call 754-4788.
