Thomas Cardy brings 30 years of experience in investment banking and public accounting to Hyde Park Capital Partners LLC, a Tampa investment banking firm. Previously, Cardy co-founded Beach Capital Advisors, was executive vice president and managing director - media and entertainment group for Communications Equity Associates and executive vice president and chief financial officer of Preview Travel. Cardy, a University of Florida graduate, is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Tampa Bay Technology Forum and the Tampa Bay chapter of the New World Angels.
Kevin Brady
Creative director, Creative Arts Unlimited Inc.
Sculptor Kevin Brady has joined the staff of Creative Arts Unlimited Inc., a Pinellas Park custom design firm. Brady, who moved to St. Petersburg from Philadelphia in 2000, has been senior sculptor for A.C. Coin & Slot Co., enlargement sculptor for Laran Bronze Foundry, art director for Holography International and enlargement sculptor for Charles Madden Studios. Locally, he has created art for the Salvador Dali Museum, Bright House Networks Field, Clearwater Public Library System, Academy of Holy Names, Pinellas Park High School, Largo Public Library, city of St. Petersburg and Pacific Wave restaurant.
Thomas (Tony) Webster

Thomas (Tony) Webster assumes his new role after 14 years at Lykes Insurance Inc., a subsidiary of Lykes Bros. Inc. of Tampa. Webster began his career at Lykes Insurance in 1993. Webster, who graduated from Pacific Mutual Future's School of Business and Estate Planning in 1983, is a member of the Florida Group Association, West Coast Benefit Counsel, Florida Health Care Coalition, the National Association of Life Underwriters and the Certified Employee Benefits Specialists Program.
Banking
Detree Allister has been named personal banking officer at Liberty Bank, Clearwater. Allister was assistant branch manger at Synovus Bank, Tampa Bay.
Sean B. Doyel has been named business banker at BankUnited Financial Corp., for BankUnited's Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg and Clearwater neighborhood banking markets. Doyel will be based in Carrollwood and previously was a small business banker at Synovus Bank of Tampa Bay.
Flagship Community Bank, St. Petersburg, announces these appointments:Kim Ellenor, senior vice president, retail banking; and Martine E. Moore, assistant vice president, business development. Ellenor was vice president, retail executive; and Moore was assistant branch manager, both at Old Harbor Bank in Palm Harbor.

Mary Layton has been named to the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. board. Layton is director of preconstruction for the Beck Group, Tampa.

John P. Foster joined H&A Consulting Partners LLC, Clear-water, as a partner. Foster was chairman and CEO at Alliance Computing Technologies Inc., Tampa.

Spring Valley School, Palm Harbor announces these people were elected to its board: Allen Giebel Sr., president; Drew Burkhead, vice president; Steve Ballou, treasurer; and Julie Spencer, secretary.
