When it comes to Halloween, it apparently does not take much to scare a bit more money out of the wallets of American consumers. An annual survey by Corporate Research International finds 47 percent of respondents will spend from $1 to $50, 24 percent will spend $50 to $100, 12 percent will spend $100 to $150, 7 percent will spend $150 to $200 and 10 percent will spend more than $200. No. 1 choice in costumes? Ghoulish garb.
