Mitt Romney campaign here this weekend
The Mitt Mobile is in Florida today through Monday as part of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign. Saturday at 2:30 p.m., it will be at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, 4150 S Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa; 3:35 p.m., Papa Joe's Italian Restaurant, 6244 Spring Lake Highway, east of Brooksville; and 4:50 p.m., the Flapjack Festival at 5401 Land O'Lakes Blvd., Land O'Lakes.

Utility updates billing statements
As a result of customer suggestions, Hernando County Utilities has changed its billing statements to now include detailed block rate information and a "friendlier" layout. Future improvements will include the meter identification number, read dates and updates for commercial account information. Customers can pay online with a MasterCard or Visa at www.hernandocounty.us/utils/. Call 754-4037.
Still time to order Rotary wreaths
The Rotary Club of Spring Hill will take orders for its holiday wreath fundraiser through Monday. The wreaths are a 22-inch round mix of noble fir, incense cedar and berried juniper and are decorated with a plaid bow and pinecones. Orders can be shipped anywhere in the continental United States with a gift message. Cost is $35 each and includes shipping. They are delivered the first week of December. Funds raised support scholarships and youth programs. To order, call Carol Okula at 684-6840.

The "Cody's Run" fundraiser bike run will be Sunday at Pioneer Park/Stewy's Skate Park on Pinehurst Drive, with signups starting at 10 a.m. The fundraiser is for a new skate ramp in the name of Cody Grater, a local man who was killed this year while serving in Iraq.
