The district schedule ends tonight, and some playoff races are anything but settled. Only four teams Largo, Gibbs, Dunedin, Indian Rocks Christian and Keswick Christian have secured a playoff spot, and there are endless scenarios in a particular district.
Class 5A, District 10
The game: Largo at Gibbs
The champion: Largo with win. Gibbs with win.
The runnerup: Largo with loss. Gibbs with loss.
Shootout: Not possible.
Class 5A, District 9
The game: East Lake at Countryside
The champion: Dunedin has already clinched.
The runnerup: Countryside with win. East Lake with win.
Shootout: With Dunedin, East Lake and Clearwater to determine district runnerup if Countryside and PHU win; with Dunedin, Countryside and Clearwater to determine district runnerup if both East Lake and PHU win.
Class 4A, District 9
The games: Lakewood at Bradenton Southeast, Bradenton Bayshore at Boca Ciega, Osceola at Northeast
The champion: Boca Ciega with win. Lakewood with win and Boca Ciega loss.
The runnerup: Lakewood with win and Boca Ciega win.
Shootout: To determine district champion and runnerup in five-way tie with Southeast win, Bayshore win and Northeast win. To determine runnerup in three-way tie with Boca Ciega loss, Northeast win and Bayshore win.
Class 2B, District 6
The game: Sarasota Cardinal Mooney at CC Catholic
The champion: Frostproof has clinched title.
The runnerup: Cardinal Mooney with win. CCC with win.
Shootout: Not possible.
