Armwood 19, Middleton 6

TAMPA - Armwood capped its perfect regular season in a game it played far from perfectly. The Hawks used 100-yard rushing games from Matt Eastman and quarterback Mywan Jackson to hold off the Tigers. "It's pretty special to be 10-0," Hawks coach Sean Callahan said. "We didn't play very good tonight, but at least we know what our problems were." Eastman got Armwood on the board with a first-quarter score from 30 yards out. But Middleton tailback Carlton Jones countered on a 67-yard touchdown run to make it 6-6 at the half. Jackson then scored on a 23-yard keeper to put the Hawks up for good midway through the third quarter. Jackson added another score with a minute to go to clinch the game and finished with 120 yards on just nine carries.
