A lively crowd turned out for Riverview's homecoming game against Durant. Still with an outside chance at the playoffs, the Sharks did not disappoint the home crowd beating Durant 28-7.
Riverview's Dylan Coffman scored on a 1-yard touchdown run, breaking a scoreless tie through 9 minutes of the second quarter. The drive was sparked by a 53-yard run by Jahleel Addae, who led all rushers with 134 yards on 20 carries.
With just 52 seconds left in the half, the Cougars scored their only points on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jeremy Fussell to Damon Kolanowski. Fussell ended the game 15 of 26 for 200 passing yards and the lone score
Riverview scored just three plays later, when Colby Fairfax hooked up with Addae for an 18-yard touchdown.
Riverview came out of the half and put together an eight play, 53 yard drive ending in a Dylan Coffman 4-yard touchdown run.
Durant put together a long drive of their own that ended with a fumble on the Riverview 1-yard.
Riverview salted the game away with another long drive, this one covering 15 plays and 78 yards, culminating in a 1-yard Marcus Thomas touchdown.
Sloppy play marred the game as the teams combined for five fumbles and 16 penalties.
