Tampa couple disappear

After hearing nothing for a week, a family member calls police. Unfed pets are found.

TAMPA -- Hillsborough County deputies will deploy boats and helicopters this morning to search for a couple whose family reported them missing on Friday.

Wendy Dusza, 34, and Trevor McGinty, 30, both of 4333 Bayside Village Drive, Apt. 208, are both self-employed in the mortgage industry.

Deputies said a family member reported the couple missing after not being able to reach either one for nearly a week.

When searching the apartment, deputies found the dog and cat unfed in the home for at least a week.

The dog was listed for sale on Craigslist.com.

Their red 2006 Jeep Wrangler with a tan soft top is also missing.

Records available via computer show that McGinty was charged in Hernando County with domestic battery in February, but with the courthouse closed, it was impossible to determine the circumstances or the outcome of the case. Records also show that in January, he was served with "an injunction for protection" and that she was served with one the same day.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office has not said whether it suspects foul play in the couple's disappearance.
