Brooksville City Hall Art Gallery: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. The fall exhibit, which runs through Monday, includes works from the Hernando Quilters, Suncoast Ship Model Society, Spring Hill Camera Club and Just Poets; paintings by artists Moe Hahn, Wanda McVeigh, Nick Paff Sr. and Dolores Witt, as well as photographer Yasmin Cooper-Bey. There is a special exhibit of Native American baskets, courtesy of Mary Berryman of Homosassa, along with sculptures and jewelry designed and crafted by Evie Harper. Alzheimer's Association to light "Candles of Care": 6:30 p.m., Forest Oaks of Spring Hill, 8055 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. The event is to remember and honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease or a related illness as part of National Commemorative Candle Lighting, an annual event sponsored by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Brookridge Entertainment presents the Marlins: Doors open at 6:30 p.m., showtime at 7, Brookridge Clubhouse, 8150 Hampton St., west of Brooksville. The Marlins is a four-brother variety show using more than 20 different instruments. Using a tight vocal harmony, they perform many styles of music, such as big band, pop, rock, jazz, classical, bluegrass and show tunes. Tickets are $15 each. Barb, 597-4620.

USA Dance host ballroom dancing: 7 to 10 p.m., Elks Lodge 2294, 7201 Congress St., New Port Richey. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $5 for USA Dance members, $7 for nonmembers, $4 for students 22 and younger. Dress code is casual or dressy.
