Veterans Day closings

The following is a list of closings for south Pinellas County on Monday.

Government

All federal, state, county and city offices: Closed.

Post offices: Closed.

Transportation

PSTA and DART: Regular schedule.

Public services

Banks: Closed.

Courts: Not in session.

Schools: Open.

Libraries: Seminole Library and West St. Petersburg Community Library at SPC will be open. All other libraries will be closed.

Garbage pickup in Treasure Island: Regular Monday pickup will be on Tuesday; regular Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday. All other residential pickup schedules will remain the same. Residents who contract independently with Waste Services of Florida (572-6800), Waste Management (572-8779) or another collection company should call the company for schedule information.

Other closings: Facilities closed Monday include the Coliseum, Progress Energy Center, Enoch Davis Center, Boyd Hill Nature Park, Business Assistance Center, Municipal Services Center, St. Petersburg Police Community Resource Centers, St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue headquarters, City Utility Payment Center, Parking Citation Payment Office, Port of St. Petersburg administrative offices, Albert Whitted Airport administrative offices, Recreation and Parks administrative offices, the Sunshine Center and Sunken Gardens business offices. Sunken Gardens attraction will be open.

For water or sewer emergencies, call the Water Resources Department, 893-7261.

For police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 911.
