Man dies when chevy leaves road, hits pole
A 35-year-old man died Tuesday when his Chevy Trailblazer hit a concrete pole on Collier Parkway around 11:30 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Joe Knebel of Land O'Lakes was heading south on Collier Parkway and drove into the northbound lane. The Trailblazer went off the road and overturned several times before crashing into a power pole. Knebel was not wearing a seat belt, the FHP report said. It is not known what caused the Trailblazer to leave the road.

4-week-old's death appears accidental
The investigation continues into the death of a 4-week-old baby after she was found not breathing at home, Pasco County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies responded to 15609 Madeline Drive around 9:18 p.m. Tuesday, where they found Naomi Rose Taylor, born Oct. 8. A preliminary investigation shows the baby's mother and father were sleeping with her in the same bed, woke up and noticed she wasn't breathing. Pasco Fire Rescue tried to resuscitate her en route to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where she was pronounced dead at 9:39 p.m. No foul play is suspected. The infant's death appears to be accidental, according to a preliminary investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
