While standing at Cypress Point Park, Ted Bommer, 60, of Zephyrhills watches passenger jets land at Tampa International Airport. Bommer works as a damage appraiser for State Farm. He goes to the park a couple of times a week to spot airplanes. The story, in Bommer's words: I work with State Farm. You wreck 'em, I check 'em. I started coming out here about six months ago. I come down here a little bit to unwind. This is a great little place to come, just the nature, the openness, It's in town, but it's out of town. It's fascinating how (the airplanes) make it across these buildings without slamming into them. They come in from the west. Watch them pop out of the clouds. It's amazing something that heavy can stay up."
