LARGO School launches effort to expand campus The Pinellas County Jewish Day School has launched a capital campaign to buy and renovate property and buildings immediately next to is campus on Cambridge Avenue in Largo. The purchase will add 11 new classrooms and a new auditorium. The school, which has 205 students, has grown at a steady 5 percent per year over the past six years and has outgrown its existing facilities. CLEARWATER Resident is neededto join pension board The Clearwater City Council has an opening for a Clearwater resident to serve on the city's employee pension investment committee. The appointment is for two years with reappointment possible. The individual will be considered a fiduciary of the pension fund and will be required to attend training and educational conferences. A financial background with a degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
