SEMINOLE - The Cougars defeated the Warhawks 42-6. Maurice Threatts ran for 228 yards on only eight carries. He scored three touchdowns in the first half, including a school- record 99-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and a 63-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The Cougars ran for 381 yards and six touchdowns. Brent Scannell added a 31-yard touchdown run and Ryan Eppes a 4-yard touchdown run. Scannell also completed a 33-yard pass to Jayson Shannon. D.J. Helm scored on a 22-yard run for the Warhawks in the third quarter. Donzel Redding rushed 9 times for 89 yards as the Warhawks ran for 174 yards. Aaron Swierenga came in off the bench to play quarterback for the Warhawks, and he completed 4 of 7 passes for 71 yards and one interception. Dawrence Roberts finished off the scoring for the Cougars with a 32-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. He finished with 105 yards on 7 carries. The Cougars finished the regular season 7-3. The Warhawks finished 0-10, the first time in Sam Roper's 23 years he has had a winless season.
