Cambridge falls in suspended game
Cambridge suffers tough 41-37 loss.

In a game suspended from Friday due to the lights going out at Bradenton Christian, Cambridge saw its momentum - and its 11-point, third-quarter lead - zapped in a tough 41-37 loss. The Lancers (6-4) nearly won in the final seconds, with a Michael Miller pass knocked out of sophomore receiver Dixon Phillips' hands in the end zone. Phillips ended up landing on a portable soccer goalpost, suffering a minor concussion; coach Rick Shears said he was expected to be released Saturday night and will be "fine." The best news coming out of the season finale was that senior tailback Taylor Cabral, with 335 yards, became the county's rushing leader with 1,515 yards for the season.
