It's not too early to start organizing your group for the annual Great Figgy Pudding Street Corner Caroling Competition.
The festive holiday event includes caroling performances, an award ceremony and a community sing-along.
Just bring lots of holiday spirit and at least four or more friends to form a caroling group and perform.
The event is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at North Straub Park in St. Petersburg.
Teams of carolers raise pledges to support the work of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic and First Night St. Petersburg.
Teams that raise $250 or more compete for a Figlanthropy Award for the team that raises the most money, a Best Choral Performance Award judged by celebrity judges, and a Most Original Performance Award judged by celebrity judges. Figgy teams are eligible to win a People's Choice Award, selected by Figgy spectators.
Call 727 821-1200.
