Boot camp parents head to Congress
By ALEX LEARY, Times Staff Writer
Published November 14, 2007
The parents of Martin Lee Anderson, the teen who died in a North Florida boot camp, flew to Washington on Tuesday for meetings with U.S. representatives and to meet with Justice Department officials who are conducting a civil rights investigation of the death. Gina Jones and Robert Anderson will meet with Rep. Kendrick Meek, D-Fla., and Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., who heads the House Judiciary Committee. The parents also will participate in a rally Friday at the Justice Department and will meet with officials at the agency, said their lawyer, Ben Crump. Anderson, 14, died after a rough encounter with guards at the Panama City boot camp in January 2006. Last month, seven guards and a nurse were acquitted of manslaughter.

Blah blah blah. You're just wasting your money. Once again, there is no INTENT, so THERE IS NO CRIME. Move to Canada.

Hopefully, congress will be more receptive to the murder of Martin Lee Anderson than the "impartial jury" was in the panhandle.
