Web site shares incorporation information

The Greater Palm Harbor Community Coalition has launched a Web site - www.PalmHarborCoalition.org - to share information with residents about its exploration of the benefits and disadvantages of incorporation of Palm Harbor as its own city. A feasibility study and town charter will be presented to the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation from 9 a.m. to noon Thursdayat the Dunedin Senior Center, 330 Douglas Ave. State Reps. Peter Nehr, R-Tarpon Springs, and Tom Anderson, R-Dunedin, are sponsoring the bill in the House. The documents are available on the new Web site. Haircut saves $10 on 'Hairspray'

Get a haircut from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall and shave $10 off tickets to the award-winning Broadway musical Hairspray to be performed Nov. 23 and 24 at the hall. Student stylists from Sunstate Academy of Clearwater will provide the haircuts in the hall's west lobby. Participants must be at least 12. The discount applies only to tickets priced $47 and $57. The first 50 participants will receive a free copy of the original Broadway cast recording of the musical. The musical will be performed at 8 p.m. Nov. 23 and 2 and 8 p.m. Nov. 24. Volunteer tax helpers needed

DAR program looks at Jamestown

Carole Coffman will give a presentation on Jamestown when the Caladesi chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution meet at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at First Presbyterian Church, 455 Scotland St. Women 18 and older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution can join the organization and attend a program.
