"The Beautiful Mind" Consumer-Run Drop In Center: 10554 Spring Hill Drive, provides support groups, employment skills training, basic educational and computer training and social activities for the mentally ill. Needed: volunteers, drivers, folding tables and chairs, copy paper, paper plates, hot and cold cups, napkins, plastic utensils, tablecloths, soda, coffee, snacks and gift certificates. Call 684-0004.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters Of Hernando County: 15120 County Line Road, provides adult mentors for children from single-parent homes. Needed: volunteers (all ages) to serve as mentors to the boys and girls on the waiting list. Call 684-7904.
Dawn Center Of Hernando County (Rape Crisis and Spouse Abuse): 5429 Commercial Way, provides counseling, housing, advocacy and support to victims of violence.
