Palm Harbor University improved to 4-0 Wednesday thanks to two goals each by Zoe Lombard and Catherine Brinkman for a 6-1 victory over Largo. Queli Ornelas and Molly Stack got the other goals for PHU, while Katie Willis had Largo's lone strike.

- St. Petersburg Catholic 5, Tampa Catholic 0

Ericka Gilbert notched two goals as SPC defeated its Hillsborough County rival. Katie Link, Holly Valenty and Darcy Long had SPC's other goals while keeper Jackie Briggs recorded the shutout. SPC (6-3) next hosts Clearwater Central Catholic on Nov. 26.

The Gladiators' Brittany McDonald notched a hat trick to lead Gibbs.


Seminole 5, Dixie Hollins 0

The Warhawks won their second match in as many tries behind a pair of goals from Christian McHale. Stefan Cerf, Troy Cobb and Mike Ulm also scored for Seminole. The Warhawks are off until the Puma Challenge at Countryside during Thanksgiving weekend.

- East Lake 4, Tarpon Springs 0

Javon Bostic netted a pair of goals as East Lake (3-0) rolled. Drew Smith and Juan Alcala each had goals for East Lake while keeper Brian Paluck saved six shots for the shutout.


Lakewood 64, Gibbs 32

Kerah Nelson led three Spartans in double digits as Lakewood doubled up Gibbs. Lakewood's Latesha Johnson finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and six assists while teammate Brishana Thomas had 12 points and five rebounds.

The Hurricanes built an early lead and held off a late Countryside rally for the win. Four PHU players were in double digits, led by Sameerah Jones' 19. The Hurricanes' Alysha Lane had 13 while teammates Sarah White and Madison McNary finished with 11 apiece. The Cougars' Julie Merritt had a team-high 17 points.

- Largo 64, East Lake 50

Largo's Egypt Thomas poured in 33 points as the Packers broke open a halftime tie with a 22-8 third quarter. Teammate Courtney Bell finished with 17 points while Angelica Peak added 16. The Eagles were led by Jacqui Rice's 13.
