At Sunlake, six players scored for the Pirates (3-0), who cruised to a comfortable 8-0 win over Sunlake (1-1-1) in a district boys soccer match. Senior forward Jose Montelongo and senior midfielder Trent Sumner each scored twice. The Pirates built a 7-0 lead in the opening 40 minutes and ended the match five minutes into the second half on a Fredi Romero goal, who converted a pass from Sumner. "The main thing, it was district game," Pasco coach Barry Grayling said. "They're important. We moved the ball around well. That's good." Gulf 4, Hernando 1 The Bucs never trailed, scoring on a pair of indirect kicks from inside the 18-yard box. Sergio Pinzon scored the lone goal for Hernando, which fell to 0-2-1.
