The Robinson wrestling team is off to a strong start.
The Knights defeated Plant City 59-13 at home Thursday, claiming 11 of 14 weight classes to win their season opener in convincing fashion. Strong performances came from juniors Chris Rollins, Zach Boyer and Donald Goode and senior Joe Geerhold.
All four pinned their opponents. Robinson had eight pins in all.
"It's good to get one under the belt," Robinson coach Tommy Montero said. "When you open at home, it's pretty stressful. Having all the kids come together is great."

At the Academy of the Holy Names, three players scored as CCC earned the win.
The Marauders are 5-0. Holy Names fell to 2-3.
Kelly Campbell, Morgan Kimsey and Madison Hanson scored CCC's goals.
"They're pretty good competition," AHN coach Jennifer McGee said. "They always are. We played excellent in the first half. They didn't score the first goal until there were less than two minutes to go in the half. But in the second half, we started to miscommunicate and that led to our downfall."
