TAMPA - Police are investigating a robbery and shootings early Friday at the CB Bar, 4200 N 42nd St. Marquis I. Stewart, 27, was at the bar when three men entered with pistols and demanded money from him and other victims, police said. Stewart struck out at one of the robbers and wrestled him to the ground, police said. During the fight, another robber shot Stewart in the left calf, and another unidentified victim grabbed his own gun and fired seven to nine times at the robbers, hitting one of them. Glad to see that the felons were shot while attempting to commit a robbery, and I'm proud of the victim who fired back. I thought however it was illegal to be armed with a handgun even if he had a Concealed Weapons Permit in a bar. Change the law.
