On the march toward glory

Marching bands from 16 Pinellas County high schools competed Nov. 3 at the 2007 Florida Bandmaster's Association District IX Marching Performance Assessment at Clearwater High School. Bands and flag corps were judged on alignment, precision, balance and entertainment. Receiving Superior ratings were: Boca Ciega High in Gulfport, Clearwater High, Countryside High in Clearwater, Dunedin High, East Lake High in Tarpon Springs, Largo High, Northeast High in St. Petersburg, Northside Christian in St. Petersburg, Osceola High in Seminole, Palm Harbor University High, Seminole High, St. Petersburg High and Tarpon Springs High. Earning Excellent ratings were: Dunedin High and Pinellas Park High. Receiving Good ratings were: Dixie M. Hollins High and Gibbs High, both in St. Petersburg.
