NEW PORT RICHEY - An 18-year-old man was arrested Thursday, charged with bringing a gun onto school property. Matthew David Oliver, 5224 Haltata Lane in New Port Richey, is also accused in an armed burglary at a Tanglewood Drive home on Sept. 25, the same day authorities say he took a gun to school. His arrest warrant did not name the school, but he is listed as a student at Gulf High. Oliver was released from the county jail in Land O'Lakes on Friday after posting $7,500 bail.
