Golden Eagles ousted by defending champs

Indian Rocks Christian's first trip to the playoffs since 1999 did not last long. Belle Glades Glades Day, the defending Class 1A state champion, cruised over the Golden Eagles.

Glades Day went ahead 20-0 before IRC scored on a 32-yard run by Lou Mason.

In the past three seasons, Glades Day has outscored county opponents in the playoffs by a combined 174-32.
