Strong rushing attack leads Terriers to win
AUBURNDALE - The Bloodhounds could not handle the Terriers' 237-yard rushing attack in the Class 4A region quarterfinals.
The Terriers (9-2) rushed for five touchdowns by four players and had a passing touchdown against a Bloodhounds defense that allowed 315 yards of total offense.
"They have a tremendous backfield," Bloodhounds coach Pat Dooley said of the Terriers.
The only score for the Bloodhounds (5-6) came on a 33-yard punt return by Brandon Reynolds in the third quarter.
"I love my team. They are great guys who work hard," Dooley said.
The Bloodhounds earned a district title a year after finishing 1-9.
The Terriers play at Armwood at 7:30 Friday night.
