Don't let the writers strike make you nervous. These books feed the frenzy for three shows with intense fan bases.

Finding Lost: The Unofficial Guide (ECW) by Nikki Stafford recaps episodes and flashbacks, catalogs pop culture references and occurrences of those infernal numbers, collects Sawyer's nicknames and totes up the body count in Lostland.

Frak You! The Ultimate Unauthorized Guide to Battlestar Galactica (ECW) by Jo Storm covers the three seasons of the "reimagined"BSG, with bios of main cast members, running counts of survivors (more numbers!), tidbits about ancient myths used in the show and episode recaps.

The House That Hugh Laurie Built: An Unauthorized Biography and Episode Guide (ECW) by Paul Challen has recaps, blah, blah, blah, but the title of the first chapter gets right to why I watch the show: "What We Talk About When We Talk About Hugh Laurie."
