Museum's festival whirls families to Tibet, India

The Museum of Fine Arts continues its celebration of Tibetan and Indian art and culture. On Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4:30 p.m., Tibetan lamas will finish the sand mandala they have been working on in the museum's Great Hall. Also on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the museum will have a Tibetan and Indian family day festival with performances, Indian food and activities. The festival is included in museum admission of $8 adults, $7 seniors, $4 students. At 1 p.m. Sunday, the lamas will return the sand mandala to nature in Tampa Bay near the museum.
