On becoming a ref: "I wasn't playing soccer (at CPUSA), but I still wanted to be around soccer. I'm not regretting not playing, but I want to be out here around it, plus it's a bonus getting paid for it."

On becoming a ref: "I really love soccer, but I don't have another team to play for since club ended, but I wanted to help out with the (little) kids. That's what I like to do: help out the kids."
