Sportzone2 Roller Hockey names season's MVPs

Sportzone2 Roller Hockey announced season award winners Saturday.
The U-17 League MVP was Anthony Panariello who notched 36 points on 21 goals and 15 assists. For the U-14 MVP, there was a tie between Dustin Disbro 26 goals, 15 assists and Domenic DeSimone (25 goals, 16 assists. Each player had 41 points.
Steven Noyes picked up both the U-12 and U-10 MVP, scoring 34 points (21 goals, 13 assists) in U-12 and 36 points (22 goals, 14 assists) in the latter. Jacob Schnapp picked up U-8 MVP honors, scoring 24 goals, including five game winners.
Flag football: i9 Sports Flag Football crowned three i9 Bowl Champions on Saturday. In the Mighty Mite division, the East Pasco Buccaneers defeated the West Pasco Jayhawks 34-14; in the Pee Wee division, the West Pasco Bears beat the East Pasco Bucs 38-0. The West Pasco Cowboys cruised by the West Pasco Bucs 24-6 in the Junior division.
More flag football: i9 Sports is accepting registrations for the 2008 winter flag football and basketball season. Boys and girls of all skill levels are welcome. Flag Football ages are 5-12 years old. Basketball ages are 6-15, and games are played in New Port Richey, Hudson and Land O'Lakes. Registration deadline is Dec. 21 and the registration fee is $99. Baseball clinic: The Jack Hubbard Baseball Clinic is scheduled for Dec. 1-2 at the Land O'Lakes Recreation Center. There will be two-hour sessions for ages 11-13 and three hour-sessions for ages 14-18 per day. Each day will conclude with a controlled game.
