Notable: Obsessions

We all have our little obsessions, and the folks who publish lavish coffee table books like these three know it.

Creem: America's Only Rock 'n' Roll Magazine (Collins) by Robert Matheu and Brian J. Bowe rewinds the glory days of the "Mouth of the Motor City" from 1969 to 1988: articles by legendary writers like Lester Bangs, fab photos and lots of those great Creem Profiles.

James Bond Encyclopedia (DK) by John Cork and Collin Stutz focuses on the 21 films based on Ian Fleming's books about the ice-cool British spy; chapters include "The Bond Style," "Weapons and Equipment" and, of course, "Bond Women."

24: The Ultimate Guide (DK) by Michael Goldman is the full dossier on tough guy Jack Bauer, CTU and all the characters and episodes of the first six seasons (and you thought your family was bad).
