City of Madeira Beach

The city is offering a basketball league for kids in grades 3-5 and 6-8 starting in January. Registration dates are Mondays Nov. 26 and Dec. 3 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays Dec. 1, 8 and 15 from noon-2 p.m. at the Madeira Beach Recreation Center. Call 392-0665.

Senior Classic

The event is open to all senior bowlers 50 and older on Dec. 1-2 and Dec. 8-9 at Seminole Lanes 8668 Park Blvd.. The tournament is for teams, doubles and singles. Call 392-2271 for information.
