OLDSMAR

Mayors to host annual breakfast

Oldsmar's current mayor apparently has not offered to dress up like the sugar plum fairy, as Mayor Emeritus Jerry Beverland once did to spur fundraising. But Mayors Jim Ronecker of Oldsmar and Andy Steingold of Safety Harbor will be wearing aprons at the Annual Mayor's Breakfast, 7:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, 105 N. Bayshore Drive. The mayors will serve tables at the buffet breakfast before addressing the group. The breakfast provides funds for food and gifts for Oldsmar and Safety Harbor families in need during the holidays. Tickets are $25 or $250 for an entire table. Donations of decorated holiday trees, to be raffled off at the event, and unwrapped, new toys are welcome. For information, go to utbchamber.com or call (813) 855-4233.
