Hospice opens thrift store in Dade City
Gulfside Regional Hospice has announced the opening of a new thrift store at 37925 Sky Ridge Circle in Dade City. The store manager is Tammy Johnson. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Dade City location has joined three other thrift stores in Zephyrhills, New Port Richey and Hudson. Donations accepted daily during business hours. Large items can be scheduled for pickup. All proceeds are designated to provide care for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in Pasco County.
Software veteran joins DataMentors
Jerry Flynn has joined DataMentors, 2319-104 Oak Myrtle Lane, Wesley Chapel, as systems administrator. Flynn has more than 20 years experience with Microsoft, Novell and Citrix platforms and services. He holds an Associate of Science Degree in computer programming, is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Novell Certified Engineer and Citrix Certified Administrator.

Good Connections thrift shop opens
The Good Connections Thrift Shoppe is now in operation at Davis Plaza, 5636 U.S. 19 in New Port Richey, 727 841-7108. The manager is Annie Jolly. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations accepted during business hours.
The thrift store supports Connections Job Development Programat 5841 Main St., New Port Richey, (727) 849-4724. Connections was founded by Sister Joan Foley, a Medical Mission Sister, in 1991 and incorporated as a nonprofit in Florida in 1992.
The agency works with more than1,000 job seekers annually who need assistance in obtaining meaningful employment. The program provides free services to job seekers and local employers who post job openings at no charge. Connections is an off-site partner of the Career Central One Stop Center.
