One new hotel here, another is planned

One hotel is about to open and another is in the planning stages in a city that lost hundreds of rooms over the past few years. By late December Ocean Properties Ltd. will open the Residence Inn at 11908 Gulf Blvd. The hotelwill reduce rooms from 117 to 105 because the one-, two- and three-bedroom suites are larger. Also, a 31-unit hotel was approved for the causeway. Zarmar Ltd. of Tampa is working on that project.
