Hanukkah celebrations

Just in time for Hanukkah, Congregation Schaarai Zedek will host a Jewish festival of lights featuring Jewish folk singer/songwriter Julie Silver. 10-11 a.m.; Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W Swann Ave., Tampa; free. Call 876-2377.

The Tampa Jewish Community Center will host its second annual "Hands-on Chanukah" program. The communitywide family celebration will be held at the Tampa Jewish Community Center campus and is open to the community. Festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Tampa Jewish Community Center, 13009 Community Campus Drive, Tampa; free for JCC members; $5 for nonmembers. Call 264-9000.

Women's brunch

The North and South Tampa Christian Women's Clubs and Stonecroft Ministries host their Holiday Boutique Buffet on Wednesday. All Bay area women are invited to the brunch, which features a fashion show and guest speaker, Jill Fieger. The event begins at 10:30 a.m.; Emerald Greens Golf and Country Club, 13903 Clubhouse Dr., Tampa; $18. Call 832-3097.
