College worship service: Floodgates Community Church hosts Challenge, a worship service for college students, at 8 p.m. Thursdays at USF's Baptist Collegiate Ministries, 13110 N 50th St. Call (813) 389-0238.

Women's Bible study: Tampa Women Aglow hosts a women's Bible study at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the North Tampa Library, 8916 N Boulevard. Call (813) 446-3312.

Unitarian Universalist service: Worship service is at 11 a.m. Sundays at Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa. Children and youth attend the first 15 minutes of the service. Religious education is for grades one to 12; child care is available at 11400 Morris Bridge Road. Call (813) 988-8188.

House of Prayer Church events: House of Prayer Church, 710 Crenshaw Lake Road, offers a membership class at 1:30 p.m. on the first three Sundays of each month. Lunch and child care are provided. Youth nights are Wednesday from 7 to 8:30. The last Saturday of each month is a night out for events such as bowling or laser tag. Call (813) 994-5694.

Traditional and contemporary services: Grace Lutheran Church of Carrollwood, 3714 W Linebaugh Ave., has traditional worship at 8:30 a.m. Sunday with the Chancel Choir; contemporary worship service at 11 a.m. is led by Spirits of Fire praise band and vocalists. Call (813) 961-8747.
