Starrlight Spectacular, 3471 50th Ave. N,"More than 40,000 lights this year. Twenty-foot megatree with more than 15,000 lights. Lights are synchronized and dance to Christmas music. The Lights of Lake Park Estates, 9701 109th Ave. "This neighborhood of 200-plus homes decorates for the holidays and accepts donations for charity. This year's display is dedicated to the memory of Eddie Dow, who led this neighborhood activity since the inception approximately 10 years ago." Begins today.
Florida Botanical Gardens, 12520 Ulmerton Road. "Pinewood Cultural Park is illuminated with more than 425,000 holiday lights." Through Jan. 3. Free.

Candy Cane Acres, 15290 Brice Drive. "Hernando County's largest Christmas light display. Consists of more than 70,000 lights on 2.5 acres. Many of the items are hand built by us, such as a 10-foot turning carousel, a 6-foot turning Ferris wheel, many wire frames and more. The display is controlled by computer, and the lights flash to the music." Directions: U.S. 41 north from Brooksville to Snow Memorial Road, County Road 581, north 3.5 miles, turn left on Snow Hill. Show runs 6-9 p.m. nightly through Dec. 25.

We have stars around the house and lots of inflatables. We even have a dancing snowman on the front porch. Driveway is lit with candles on both sides, several deer and a skating snowman."
