WEST PALM BEACH

Fourteen people were injured in a mosh pit during a radio station rock concert in West Palm Beach.

Deputy Chief Steve Delai of Palm Beach Fire Rescue says it's unclear what caused the incident at the Buzz Bake Sale on Saturday. He says he thinks the concert attendees got a little rambunctious.

Delai says five people were taken to a hospital and nine others were treated on the scene at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre.

No one was seriously injured.

7-year-old boy falls under parade float

A 7-year-old boy was in stable condition Saturday after he was injured in a Christmas parade, according to a hospital official.

Jacob Johns was riding on the St. Johns County Parks & Recreation Department float when his dangling feet got caught in the tires, pulling him down.

The float drove over the boy's abdomen.

He was taken to Shands Jacksonville hospital for treatment.

A nurse and rescue worker who were watching the procession in St. Augustine cared for the boy until crews arrived, the Florida Times-Union reported.
