TAMPA - Tanesha Young believed her husband was "running around on her," police say.

After Antone Neely fell asleep, Young poured hot grease all over his body, burning him from thigh to ankle and scalding his back, his right arm and his torso, according to a Tampa Police Department report.

Young, 24, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. She was held at the Hillsborough County jail Tuesday without bail.

Neely, 29, was taken to University Community Hospital and transferred to Tampa General Hospital, police say. He was listed in good condition.

Neely declined to comment, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Police say that Neely, who works at an alarm company in Tampa, told police that his wife accused him of cheating. After the argument, Neely fell asleep in a chair, he said.

He awoke to the hot grease pouring over his body, he told police. He said his wife walked away as his body was burning.

He said the couple's children were staying at his mother-in-law's house, and he went there, where someone tried to treat his burns with milk. He then drove himself to University Community Hospital.

Neely was swathed in protective wrapping for his burns. Police interviewed him at the hospital and then looked for Young. They found her hiding in a bedroom closet at her mother's house, according to police. She was taken to jail.

It appears this isn't the first domestic issue between the pair, who married in 2003, court records show. On Sept. 9, 2004, Young accused her husband of domestic violence, according to a police report.
