Coming attractions: Proposed projects in Hernando County
By Times Staff Writer

Hernando is a fast-growing county with a lot of building activity. It can be difficult to keep up with what's going on in your neighborhood or near your place of business. This feature is designed to help keep you informed, in case you want to appear before public officials and ask questions or comment on a particular project. We will publish the map and proposed projects before each county Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and before each land-use meeting of the County Commission. The Planning and Zoning Commission typically makes recommendations to the County Commission, which then makes the final decision on projects. Here are the items on the agenda for Monday's meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the County Commission chambers at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville.
