Malcolm and Marcel Durham
The brothers are an integral part of Largo's defense, which has posted five shutouts and given up an average of eight points per game.
Malcolm, a senior, is a tough hitter at linebacker, where he has 50 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery this season.
Marcel, a junior, is a defensive back who has come up with big plays, including a pair of fumble recoveries and an interception. Tonight, they have the tough task of trying to slow down Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas' potent offense.
"We just have to play Packer football and come up with plays," Malcolm said.
Largo pep rally
A pep rally will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. today at the school to get students revved up for the game. Most players and coaches will attend.
Packers not in all-star game
Because of its run through the state playoffs, Largo will not have any players in the 13th annual Pinellas All-Star football classic, held Wednesday at Clearwater.
Initially, the Packers had five players selected: Malcolm Durham, Travis Feldman, Brynn Harvey, Leonard Johnson and Billy Peach.
"They were replaced because it would have been difficult for them to turn around and play again after their playoff game," said Tarpon Springs' George Kotis, who is the coach of the north team.

Largo's Class 5A state semifinal game is the only playoff game on the west coast of Florida tonight.
