Familiar songs and sing-alongs

A Jingle Bell Pops: Christmas carols, yuletide tunes and sing-alongs with the Florida Orchestra are at 2 and 8 p.m. today at the Mahaffey Theater, 400 First St. S, St. Petersburg. $21-$56. Call 892-5767.

Still No Room at the Inn: 21st annual carol sing on Friday draws attention to homelessness in America. Begins at the ASAP Drop-in Center, 423 11th Ave. S, St. Petersburg, with singing at shelters and other sites throughout downtown. A free cookout is held from 5-7 p.m. for participants. Caroling is from 7-9 p.m. Refreshments are served after in Straub Park. Call 823-5665 for information.
